Turkish corsairs completely ransacked the church of Sant Elm at the late sixteenth century, during the construction of the walls, and at the end of the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), was completely destroyed

The church of Sant Elm (San Telmo), also known as Parroquia de Sant Salvador de la Marina, is located in the center of the seaside neighborhood between the Mercat Vell and port. It was built in the fifteenth century as a chapel Guild Mariners, but has been battered by history.

Masses in spring and summer: Monday to Friday, 8 and 20 hours; Saturdays, 8, 19 and 20 hours; Sundays and holidays, 9, 10,30, 12, 19 and 20 hours. The temple remains open most of the day
