Assembled on a beautiful porch with three arches with columns, arches and well, the church houses a cultural center
The charm of the area and the authenticity of the landscape surrounding the Church of Sant Carles de Peralta make this temple one of the finest on the island. Assembled on a beautiful porch with three arches with columns, arches and well, the church houses a cultural center. Its origins date back to 1785, when Bishop Lasierra Abal ordered the construction of the temple, whose works concluded in the late eighteenth century.
At that time, the Sant Carles had about 80 families before the construction of the temple, which had to be moved to the church of Santa Eulària to attend religious services. Its physiognomy is notable for having the bell on the left side, and inside original altarpieces and altar that were destroyed during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) were housed precious.
SCHEDULE The church is usually open all day. Mass schedule: Sundays at 12 hours in autumn and winter and 11 hours in spring and summer
